MarketingManager (DEMAND)


We are looking for a highly driven, analytical and commercially minded Demand Marketing Manager to help elevate Marmalade’s inbound strategy and set the business up for scale through our next phase of growth.

You will own and direct all paid and organic inbound channels to deliver sustained quality lead volume into the Business Development team. This is a rare opportunity for a proven demand marketer to join a business at a critical inflection point. 

Reporting to the Head of Growth, the Demand Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

  • Owning the end-to-end digital inbound strategy
  • Exceeding inbound lead and customer acquisition targets 
  • Leading the direction of both paid and unpaid channels to deliver a diversified lead mix to deliver sustained growth
  • Developing strategic targeting strategies focused on key industry verticals 
  • Scoping, briefing and distributing content to drive SEO and long-tail marketing strategies
  • Owning content deployment and conversion on the core Marmalade website
  • Conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and effective budget management
  • Continuously research and deploy new inbound approaches to stay ahead of the curve
  • Maintaining a high standard of Salesforce CRM data integrity 
  • Re-building and developing long-tail lead nurture strategy using Account Engage / Pardot 
  • Tracking and reporting on key performance metrics to keep stakeholders informed


  • 7+ years working in high performing demand generation or performance marketing teams
  • 3+ years leading demand generation strategy with a B2B technology product 
  • Tangible examples of exceeding inbound targets on a consistent basis  
  • Ability to articulate how you have solved complex problems in a fast paced environment
  • Fintech, technology or financial services experience advantageous 
  • The confidence and experience to own a key distribution channel for a high growth scale-up 
  • Details focused and thorough approach to data and reporting 
  • Strong CRM and Marketing Automation experience comfortable defining and executing effective lead nurture campaigns
  • Comfortable working in an environment where some systems and processes are still in the build stage and not yet clearly defined
  • Strong ability to prioritise activity based on potential impact
  • Self-motivated and autonomous
